Article #6: I can do all things
Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.'" (NKJV)
Are you feeling inadequate to do the things God has placed on your heart? Are you feeling that you do not have the qualifications to be useful to your generation? You are being reminded that with Christ you can do all things. This means that He will enable you, empower you, equip and engage you to achieve the dream.
God is looking for people not necessarily with abilities but with availability to Him. God will give you the ability when you give Him your availability.
A lot of people have talked themselves out of great things and the dreams God had placed on their hearts. They feel inadequate and feed on that inadequacy until they limit themselves and stop doing anything because of FEAR.
Let go of your self- limiting beliefs and allow Christ to work through you. Speak what the Bible says about you rather than what the world says about you. Everything you ever need to be for which God has created you is right inside you. You were born equipped to achieve and thrive.
Stop listening to the voices that are pulling you down and begin to listen to the voice of God written through His Word — the Bible.
Action Exercise
- Write down your self- limiting beliefs.
- Check what the Bible says about you in the light of those beliefs.
- Begin a new chapter by meditating on what you can do with the help of Christ.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, forgive me for talking myself down and listening to the wrong voices.
I confess that I can do all things through you who infuses inner strength in me.
Help me to work with You in the achievement of my dreams. Amen.
